Load-balanced Multiple Broadband Solution

soVision has developed a brand new load-balanced ADSL connectivity solution that utilises multiple broadband services to provide a faster and more robust alternative to a single ADSL broadband connection. This solution is ideal for organisations or heavier home users that need to increase their bandwidth availability for data, voice or internet traffic but don't have the budget for an SDSL service or a leased line. Load balancing technology allows traffic to be shared between the broadband services, preventing those annoying slowdowns caused when large numbers of users are trying to connect at once or a particular user is monopolising your connection.

How does it work? 

The key element in this solution is the load-balanced router/firewall that is used to combine the broadband services and allows you to use them as if they were a single connection. This hardware can be configured to combine any of soVision's broadband services and can be remotely managed and supported by soVision's technical staff. It can be easily integrated into your current IT infrastructure, provides a robust and comprehensive firewall and can support both VPN and VOIP services if required.

This hardware is used to combine between 2-4 separate broadband services. Each broadband service comprises a phone line, a DSL modem and the broadband connection itself. These elements can all be provided by soVision, but to keep costs down and provide increased redundancy we can integrate your current broadband setup into the solution we provide.

What are the benefits?

• Redundancy
  
  This is a load-balanced solution, should one of the broadband services it uses go down, the solution will continue to operate over the remaining connections. As soVision can source broadband services from multiple suppliers and combine these into the solution, you receive additional redundancy - should one of these suppliers' services run into problems and cease operating, your connectivity will be maintained over the other suppliers’ services. This benefit is also gained when combining the solution with your current broadband setup.
  
  
• Scalability
  
  This solution can support up to 4 separate broadband services. If you only need 2 broadband services initially, you can start off with this number and then add additional services as required.
  
  
• Cost
  
  The cost for this solution is significantly cheaper than a leased line or SDSL solution, and you won't be tied into a 24 or 36 month contract (most of soVision's broadband services are provided on a monthly contract basis).

  The solution is setup to allow us to monitor and manage it remotely, enabling our technical support team to provide assistance quickly and efficiently.
  

• Ideal for remote locations
