Preventative Measures
Preventative measures include 24/7 monitoring with our proprietary monitoring servers, which will report to our Bristol IT support and IT services centre any exceptions to defined parameters or errors in the systems. For example we can monitor processor usage, hard disk usage or that your mail server is still receiving mail. If the monitoring flags up an issue it is then automatically emailed and SMS to your dedicated IT Support team. In most instances we are aware of any issues long before our customers and therefore can deal with them when they are relatively minor.
Proactive Support
Proactive IT support checks are conducted whilst an IT support engineer is on site doing another job or they will be done remotely from time to time. We call it server husbandry. Your dedicated IT Support team will check your equipment remotely at least once a week even if we have not heard from you or the active monitoring does not show any faults.
Reactive Support
Providing reactive support isn’t just about answering a call, it's about diagnosing the problem quickly and efficiently to ensure your business is up and running again. There may be instances when a problem can't be fixed quickly, if that happens soVision will, subject to a suitable device being available, install loan equipment to keep you functioning. If your business requires a higher level of redundancy soVision can provide critical business contingency planning, to the point where we can provide fully serviced offices at a moment's notice.
