SDSL Broadband

High upstream bandwidth services.

What is SDSL broadband?

The difference between ADSL and SDSL is that the SDSL service has the same upstream data transfer rate as its downstream data transfer rate, whereas ADSL always has a significantly smaller upstream data transfer rate.

For example a typical 2Mbps ADSL connection will have an upstream data transfer rate of only 256Kbps (1/8th of the downstream rate) whereas the equivalent 2Mbps SDSL connection will be able to send data upstream at a rate of 2Mbps.

An SDSL connection is ideal for customers who host their own internet services or have remote workers or sites connecting into them over VPN.
